Yahoo! Messenger Spam

These days it ain't only by e-mail one recieves spam. Lately my Yahoo! Messenger account seems to recieve a more than normal amount of 'spam' messages.

Todays last message (and what made me write this post) came in as:

pamela_21_px: hello, here's my pic,
http://64.38.228.85/pamela/ wanna chat?
or call me?

It is more or less the format of all of them. Quite annoying. Strange thing is that I only recieve it on Y!, and neither on MSN, ICQ nor AIM. Hopefully more people than I react to this, and hopefully Y! sorts this out.

Even worse with ICQ: since people's ICQ IDs are assigned incrementally, spammers can just send their spam to user# 1, 2, 3, .... 100 million...

At least with AIM, Yahoo and MSN they need to make an effort to find valid addresses (not hard wither, btw)

It's easy to alleviate the YM spam by changing your privacy settings. Or just log in as invisible.

This stupid spamming scum sucking swine actually left me an 800 number to call!!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE call 888-268-2841 and tell her what you think of her spamming ways!! Her name is Deb Balser and the crap she is selling is some multi-level vitamin scam. Feel free to post this her number anywhere you like. Call as often as you can! It should run up her phone bill quite a bit! ASLO after your message let her know that DR Latte told you to call her (I want this bitch to know who did this to her)
